We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Computing and Communications
capable of excellent teaching and research in the areas of networking
and security.
You will have expertise in at least two of the following specialisms,
covering both networking and security - Infrastructure Networking, Cisco
Networking technology, Network Security, Security and Privacy, Digital
Forensics or a comparable technical security discipline. You will
contribute to the development and delivery of educational provision in
networking and security, enhancing its future delivery in line with
academic and practitioner expectations.
You will also be expected to develop your own research agenda, aligned
with and enhancing the department's existing research strengths. You
will therefore possess the expertise and demonstrable potential to make
a sustained contribution within the fields of networking and security.
