There were two aspects to this: those staff who had been cleared initially with a hepatitis B surface antigen who needed annual screening until evidence of immunity. MMR screening for the renal staff was done as part of contact tracing after measles incident and so was merged so that each renal dept then kept their own records and ward managers responsible for this. Renal managers were responsible for dealing with those who did not attend.
