HI there
After reading all your comments I am just interested to know if the report has not been sent to RIDDOR within this time frame and is sent a few months later what happens?
Thanks in advance
Geraldine

Thank you Anne. Had not realised had to be within 10 days of incident. Think I have a much better understanding of it all now.

Hello Laura
RIDDOR reports must be made within 10 days of the incident so it is too late to do so now. Reports must be made if the injury equates to certain criteria including a period of absence of more than 7 days, hospital treatment and specified work related injuries/diseases, eg amputation of a finger, fracture, serious burn etc.
