Hourly Paid Associate Lecturer in Animation - opportunities at University of Lincoln
The BA Animation at Lincoln is a very popular, award-winning programme comprising 2D and 3D approaches working with high end software in top class bespoke studio facilities. Since 2014, the programme has been part of the School of Film & Media and maintains strong links with programmes and staff in Fine Art and Design.
We are looking for part-time hourly paid Associate Lecturers, who are available to work during the academic year between January 2016 and July 2016, to teach across all levels of the BA (Hons) Animation course.
Essential skills:
Experience in one or more of the following:
2D animation
3D animation
Animation Project Supervision
Desirable:
Drawing for animation
Character modelling
3D character setup (rigging in Maya)
Understanding of animation production pipeline
2D and 3D Compositing
Visual Storytelling and sequential art
You will work alongside experienced module co-ordinators and will be expected to be involved in preparation, module delivery, and marking. You need to be committed to providing a supportive student experience and to working as part of a small and close-knit team.
Teaching and/or industry experience required.
