Dear All,
with the compulsory apologies for crossposting, I'd like to share the event details for:
'Exploring the UK Web: an introduction to web archives as scholarly sources'
at the Bodleian Libraries' Weston Library, Oxford
11th December 2-4 pm
Jason Webber from the British Library, Prof Jane Winters and Dr Gareth Millward from the Big UK Domain Data for the Arts and Humanities (BUDDAH) Project, and Prof Ralph Schroeder from the Oxford Internet Institute will take us on an expedition into the UK web space and give an introduction to resources, methods and tools available for web archive based research.
Though the event is primarily aimed at students and academic researchers, anyone interested in web archive is most welcome to attend, and contribute their thoughts and ideas (we have planned in plenty of time for a Q&A and discussion!)
The event is free and open to all - please join us and/or spread the word.
More information, including on how to book a place, can be found on the Bodleian Library Archives and Manuscripts blog:
