The Northern Ireland Troubles and Peace Process: Legacies, Silences and
Memories in Conflict Transformation;
Negotiating ‘the Past’ in Post–conflict Spaces: History, Memory and
Cultural Geography After War and Conflict;
Heritage in the Twenty-First Century;
Reparative Histories: Radical Narratives of 'Race' and Resistance

are also welcome on other topics that relate to the supervisory expertise

The studentships are offered by the College of Arts and Humanities via two
funding routes. The TECHNE Doctoral Training Partnership makes up to fifty
AHRC-funded awards across the full range of arts and humanities
disciplines, shared between seven HE institutions in London and the
South-east. A number of University of Brighton studentships are also
available. Students who apply for a TECHNE award will be considered
automatically for a University award and we will guarantee funding to our
best applicants. University awards are also open to international students.
*Deadline for applications to the University of Brighton: 22 January 2016.
Deadline for applications to TECHNE: 7 February 2016. *
Further details of these schemes and the application process can be found
