Hi,
Yes, also avoid any apostrophes, hyphens or ampersands in your Group names or Groupset / Collection names in WebPA.
O'Reilly s and Barrington-Smythe s are not allowed to do it!

Many thanks,
Group will now use a paper substitute, there was an apostrophe in her name which caused the issue.
many thanks

Hi Emma
According to this document:
http://webpaproject.com/webpa_wiki/index.php/Assessments
“Once marks are submitted to an assessment you will no longer be able to change groups. You will have to create and schedule a new assessment if you need to use a different collection of groups.”
That seems to imply that something irreversible happens in the database for that assessment instance when the first student submits their marks.
Hope this helps,
Dave

Subject: adding a student to an open assessment
Hi All,
We have limited support for webpa here, so can anyone tell me if I can add in a student to the assessment and to a group once the assessment has opened? For some reason a student who was on the original .csv (I’ve just checked), somehow hasn’t made it on to the system and I didn’t realise until she contacted me. Can you advise?
Huge thanks
Emma
