Dear SPM team,
I am working with LFP signals invasively extracted from the basal ganglia. I have 8 subjects that performed two different kinds of movements (M1 and M2), off and on medication (D1, D2). I am interested in patterns of synchronization within specific frequency bands (esp. lower and higher beta). I have used SPM to create TF plots, produced patient-averages and have converted these to images, which were then smoothed. My questions are:
1. Can I use SPM to statistically compare activation to baseline levels in each of the 4 conditions (M1D1, M1D2, M2D1, M2D2)? If so, what are the relevant SPM functions/functionalities?
2. For 2nd level analysis: Should I use a one-way within-subject ANOVA, a full-factorial? Regarding terminology, would I have here 1 group, 2 Factors of two levels each, and does this mean that I have two conditions? Also, is it correct to use the average TF image for each patient instead of that of each trial?
3. Is marsbar relevant to perform ROI analysis with this kind of data?
Thank you very much,
Eduardo
