Dear All - any of you able to help Karen below? Karen used to be AD at the Stella Project in London before taking the brave step of doing a PhD. Please pass on if there's other people you know who may be able to help. All the best, Sarah

Dear Colleagues

I am undertaking a PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, Kings College London. My research is focused on integrated trauma-informed interventions for women with co-occurring experiences of problematic substance use, violence and psychological distress.

As part of an initial scoping exercise, I would very much welcome hearing from:

1) Those involved in delivering an existing manualised trauma –specific intervention to women which aims to address problematic substance use and psychological distress related to childhood or adult violence and abuse. For example this could be Seeking Safety (PTSD/Addiction), TREM (Trauma Recovery and Empowerment), or Covington's Beyond Trauma programme etc.

2) Those involved in delivering a new programme devised in house but follows a structured format.

3) Practitioners offering other gender specific services to this group of women, for example alcohol and drug workers offering a women-only service and domestic and sexual violence practitioners working with substance using women.

4) Researchers involved in evaluating trauma-specific interventions for this study population.

If you are interested to talking further about your work please could you drop me an email at [log in to unmask] with the following information:

Name, job title, organisation and contact details

A line about your service or the intervention with which you are involved and the target service user population.

I would also really appreciate it if you could pass this onto relevant colleagues and networks.

Thanks in advance for your help.
