The School of East Asian Studies, University of Sheffield with support from the Great British Sasakawa Foundation are hosting two events devoted to the study of Girlhood in East Asian Cinema and Popular Culture.
8th Dec
5.30-6.30pm. Dr Sharon Kinsella (University of Manchester) will be speaking on the topic 'Schoolgirls as Mutineers: the deep history of fantasising juvenile female resistance across genres in Japan'
