We built our WordPress site in-house, which may not be an option for
everyone depending on your employee skill set. Iıve heard Drupal might be
better for supporting more complex sites but weıve been happy with WP. We
chose WP because the person we had in-house to work on this was familiar
with it (as am I) and we wanted a CMS that other members of our staff
wouldnıt find intimidating. Drupal may be fine and I would certainly
choose it next as a CMS based on what I have read- I just have no
experience with it. We have just transitioned to Altru for our online
ticketing. Itıs separately hosted (itıs a Blackbaud product) but styled to
look like visitors are still on our website. Itıs a fairly new product to
the market and to us so I canıt speak in depth about it but so far itıs
working for us.
