Hi all,
We are about to embark on the first phase of project that seeks to
establish a new CRM ('Customer Relationship Management') system for Science
Gallery.
The cultural sectors focus on managing relationships with community members
rather than customers presents a twist on the standard B2C model that many
of the traditional solutions have been built to address.
With that in mind we are keen to learn more about the systems currently
being used by other cultural organizations for community relationship
management:
- What CRM system are you using?
- What are the strengths and weaknesses of this CRM system?
- Have you extended functionality, built apps, connected external data
sources? If so what have you done?
- Is the CRM system integrated with other key systems and workflows?
- Did your organisation use the all features initially thought to be
important when the system was selected?
- Did any issues arise when migrating or integrating legacy data in/out of
other systems?
I have created a short google form <http://goo.gl/forms/ttNYvHlsXl> to
gather responses to the questions above. We will close the survey at the
end of next week, put together a report on the responses and share with all
of the contributors.

Please feel free to share on social media. If you are not best placed to
answer these questions we would appreciate if you could forward this email
to the relevant people in you organisation.
Best,
Danny
