DRS2016 | Design + Research + Society | Future-focused Thinking
50th Anniversary International Design Research Society Conference
27-30 June 2016, Brighton, UK
*** Full Paper Deadline Extended to 16th November! - An extra week to finish your paper ***
We have had many requests for more time to finish off full papers so have decided to extend the deadline by one week, from 9th November to 16th November. This, however, is the final, hard-and-fast, absolutely-unshiftable, never-to-be-shifted, deader-than-dead, deadline.
So don't miss it!
Call for Conversations - Detailed information about the conversations now available
The DRS Conversation format engages attendees in open exchange to develop new understandings about a theme of Design Research. The ambitions of the format are:
• to provide an environment where a constructive dialogue can take place about issues of importance in Design Research, particularly to promote exchanges about topics not easily captured by the written paper;
• to foster open exchange, by talking, but also by means of play, prototyping, critique of each others' work produced on-th-spot, or even activism and to record the process and outcomes;
• to welcome exchanges across stakeholders such as researchers, practitioners and other design stakeholders
