Dear Crystallographers,
Has anyone noticed that Rmerge is still reported in NSMB (at least in some papers) and the other new stats like Rmeas, Rpim, CC1/2 are not reported? It actually bothers me not just in principle but in practice: e.g., it's hard to evaluate resolution cutoffs or compare datasets with different redundancies/multiplicities with good ol' Rmerge. Why should a journal devoted to structural biology be so behind the times? And what can be done about it? Who can best change this--the journal, the authors, ...?
