Dear all,
Our active work on Archiving the Arts<http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/archives-sector/archiving-the-arts.htm> will be drawing to a close at the end of March 2015.
As we plan for this, we are looking at ways to evaluate activity and progress since summer 2013. We have reached over 250 organisations and individuals, providing advice on good practice, development, partnerships and sources of funding. We have delivered a range of regional and specialist events, covering ideas, arts archives of many kinds, creative re-use, development, collaboration, funding, digital, copyright and IP. We have gained so much from working with Archiving the Arts supporters and champions, from a little advice that goes a long way, supporting and hosting events, right through to support for major projects and initiatives. Thanks so much for your active participation.
As part of our work to round up and help focus activity over the coming months, we'd be extremely grateful if you could answer a few questions.
We'd like to hear about your work with arts archive collections; or creative work with archive collections:
1) Are you planning to apply / currently applying for funding?
2) Is this with Arts Council or Heritage Lottery Fund, or other schemes?
3) Is this a partnership (who with)?
4) Were there other developments or partnerships not related to funding?
5) Were you inspired or advised by Archiving the Arts?
6) Did you attend an Archiving the Arts event?
7) Did you use any Archiving the Arts resources<http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/archives-sector/archiving-the-arts-resources.htm>?
8) Would you like advice on your idea or application (for work with arts archive collections; or creative work with archive collections)?
You can find out more about the resources and case studies we have brought together online here: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/archives-sector/archiving-the-arts-resources.htm
We are very keen to gather more case studies, as this is an excellent way to share the learning. Please do get in touch if you'd like to contribute.
