A health statistician is required for the Lancashire Clinical Trials Unit and Methodological Support Group located within the College of Health and Wellbeing. The successful candidate will have a postgraduate degree in medical statistics or a closely related subject.
In the role you will contribute to the design, analysis and reporting of randomised controlled trials and other well-designed studies in health and develop your own area of research consistent with the College’s research strategy and planned Research Excellence Framework submission. You will join, or closely collaborate with, research teams which typically comprise members from both within and outside the University. The position will also involve some teaching, research student supervision and work on innovation or knowledge transfer projects, both internally and externally with local NHS Trust partners.
