Lancaster University in partnership with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine
has been awarded a Medical Research Council Doctoral Training Partnership
grant in translational and quantitative research with a focus on Global Health.
Seven PhD studentships are available for this four-year programme (1 year MRes
plus 3-year PhD) for an October 2016 start-date. Projects within the Lancaster-led
quantitative arm of the DTP will focus on fundamental statistical methodology
and mathematical modelling underpinning substantive applications in global public health.

each successful candidate's primary location will be in either Liverpool or Lancaster,
