Postdoctoral Research Officer
London School of Economics and Political Science - Department of Statistics
Salary: £33,450 to £40,462 pa inclusive, with potential to progress to £43,537 pa inclusive
Applications are invited for a post-doctoral Research Officer position, tenable from 1 April 2016 for three years.
You will work under the direction of Prof. Piotr Fryzlewicz on the EPSRC-funded research project "New Challenges in Time Series Analysis".
Applicants should have a PhD in statistics or a related subject and should demonstrate clear research achievement or potential for such achievement in mathematical statistics and statistical computation. A strong research track-record with a solid mathematical statistics foundation is essential for the job. The project also involves extensive computation. Experience in time series research is desirable but not essential.
