Job Description:
The Centre for Quantitative Medicine, Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, is an academic home that strives to bring the quantitative science and biomedical research communities together. This partnership will improve the quality of biomedical research in Singapore. Currently the centre consists of about 15 biostatisticians and epidemiologists, half of them at PhD level. The centre's methodological works include analysis of recurrent events and censored data, adaptive clinical trial designs, statistical genetics and high-dimensional data.
The successful candidate will participate in methodological research on the analysis of clinical and laboratory data arising from vaccine clinical trials and infectious disease studies. The successful candidate will perform programming tasks, simulation evaluation of statistical methods and analysis of vaccine/infectious disease/censored data, and participate in the development of novel statistical methods.
The position is for one year. Renewal is subject to mutual satisfaction and availability of funds.
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics
- Strong programming skills using R, Stata or SAS.
- Experienced in the practice of simulations
- Preferably with methodological background in the modeling of censored data.
