Here at inVentiv Health, we are looking for a Senior Statistician to join our sponsor who develops and commercialises innovative biopharmaceuticals for unmet medical needs and diseases based in Central London.
The contract will initially be 6 months with a view to be extended.
Senior Statistician
The Senior Statistician is a skilled Biostatistician with training in statistics and preferably experience in drug development, and clinical research. As a Senior Statistician you will provide biostatistics and biometrics leadership and oversight for all phases of clinical trials and drug development programs, including regulatory submissions. You will be responsible for the production of biostatistics deliverables and provide statistical expertise in all clinical development activities. You will work with the clinical development team members including clinical scientists, clinical project managers, clinical operations, statistical programmers, medical writers, and clinical data managers in design and conduct of clinical trials and to achieve study related objectives.
This is a great chance for an experienced Statistician to work within a small-medium sized pharmaceutical organisation based in London where you will have the opportunity to be in a key role within a growing organisation. The position is office based, but with flexible working arrangements available.
This opportunity can be offered either through our outsourcing division and a permanent contract of employment with inVentiv Health or as a freelance contract for the initial term.
Pre-requisites:
Masters (or higher) in Statistics, Biostatistics, Biometrics or related field
Proven knowledge of statistical methods in clinical study designs, clinical data analyses (Phase I-Phase IV), including statistical procedures in analysis software (e.g., SAS)
In depth knowledge of theoretical and applied statistics
Knowledgeable of CDISC requirements for SDTM and ADaM is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
