Modern library methods have ended such evidence of use, alas. I had a copy of the 1948 Negroes in Britain which had been in an American college library and had been taken out once in thirty plus years.

At a meeting I went to last night someone gave me a copy of Peter Fryer's
book. Hardback - 2nd hand, from ILEA Education Library. But in v. good
condition.
What's so very sad is that it was only borrowed 7 times between 1985 and
1989, according to the stamps (removable)
If you would like this I'd be happy to pass it on.. but you would have to
refund me the postage costs.
