Hi FSLers,
I'm using epi_reg to achieve registration of my functional and structural data within subjects. My question regards how to properly implement updatefeatreg so that I can work this registration into my feat analyses.
My current order of steps, based on the FSL FAQs pages consist of:
1. running customary prestats in feat
(registration tab set to run full search using 12dof for both the registration to the main structural image and to the template image)
2. running epi_reg separately from feat analysis:
epi_reg --epi=func.nii.gz --t1=struc.nii.gz --t1brain=struc_brain.nii.gz --out=func2struc
3. take the .mat file from step 2 and place in the .feat/reg directory resulting from step 1. Specifically, I should replace the ***example_func2highres.mat*** file created in step 1 with ***func2struc.mat*** created in step 2.
4. run updatefeatreg:
updatefeatreg analysis.feat -pngs
5. run feat again, but with statistics only (registration turned off), and using modified analyses.feat directory as the input.
My question is whether the above is correct? I'm particularly concerned about:
- whether I should be using a different registration in step 1
- whether I am moving/replacing the correct files in step 3.
Many thanks for the help,
Lara
