At the Hockey museum I have been looking at UKAT for classification of terms which we would be able to use when entering items onto our database of objects. As someone whois closely involved with this I am finding it not very useful. Does anybody out there use a thesauri of terms which is suitable for the Sporting Heritage sector?
As we grow I believe that some form of thesaurus is going to be required and rather than having to accomodate various better to have some basic structures now. Does anybody out there agree with this? Do you think we justify a Sporting Heritage thesaurus? Is this a long term project for us?
