Dear all,
some of our departments at Humboldt-University Berlin have a separate
room for paper questionnaires and other non-digital research data. We
also suggest digitization if possible and worth the effort/money. Our
university archive as well as the library don't have the space or
resources to handle non-digital research data.
We would also be interested to hear of other experiences/worksflows/ideas.
Kind regards,
Kerstin

I can't help but feel that a records management/archives input or collaboration would be helpful here, where that is available, as there are obvious parallels with management, retention and preservation of data. Will be interested to see if there are any such collaborations out there or if there is an appetite for it.

Our RDM policy states that the University is committed to preserving and storing research data for a minimum of 10 years, or as directed by the funder. We are using figshare for digital data but this is our first query about retaining paper records.
