The next Science Alliance Cymru event will be held at Techniquest on Wednesday 7th October, from 5.00 – 6.30 (with refreshments from 4.30)
The speakers are:
Dr. Paul Roche, ESERO-UK Space Ambassador for Wales. Tim Peake will become the first British ESA astronaut to visit the ISS in December 2015. Paul will be introducing the support and resources available to teachers from the European Space Education Resource Office (ESERO) to help maximise the inspirational value of Tim Peake’s mission.
Louise Stubberfield, Education and Learning Team at the Wellcome Trust. A former primary headteacher, Louise will be leading a discussion about the issues facing science at primary school level, including research outcomes and future actions that can be taken across the sector to ensure young people understand that primary science matters.
