Responsible Research and Innovation – New Frontiers
UCL Hub for Responsible Research and Innovation
Monday, November 9th, 2015 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM (GMT)
The UCL Hub for RRI’s third public event: ‘Responsible Research and Innovation – New Frontiers’, will be a panel discussion highlighting emerging work in RRI from across the UK.
Speakers will include:
• Nikolas Rose, Professor of Sociology, King’s College London
• Marina Jirotka, Professor of Human Centred Computing, Oxford University
• Brett Scott, Campaigner, former broker and author of ‘The Heretic’s Guide to Global Finance: Hacking the Future of Money”.
The discussion will be chaired by Jack Stilgoe from the UCL Hub for RRI and will be followed by a drinks reception.
This event will take place in the Main Quad Pavilion at UCL, Gower St, London WC1E 6BT on Monday 9th November 2015. Registration will be from 18:30, with the discussion panel starting at 19.00.

The UCL RRI Hub is part of the European RRI Tools project, which aims to develop a toolkit for researchers, policymakers, businesses, civil society and educational organisations to help science and innovation better reflect the needs and wishes of society. The Hub is a base for research, sharing and training on these issues.
