This is to inform you that we have two candidates for the position of new
PALA Chair: Prof Dan McIntyre and Prof Michael Toolan.

In accordance with the PALA Chair election procedure, approved during the
2012 PALA AGM and circulated to the PALA Announce list on 30th July 2015,
please find attached the manifestos of the two candidates.

This is also to remind you that, in accordance with the procedure, the
official voting period is from now 15th October 2015 00.00 CET to 15th
November 2015 23.59 CET.

PALA members who have joined the Association after the AGM on the 18th July
2015 are ineligible to vote in this election, but are eligible to vote in
elections from 1st January 2016.

In order for you to vote, send an email to me (the PALA Secretary Daniela

be sent cc to

a)    the PALA Membership Secretary Stephen Pihlaja
