Dear all
Just a note to call the attention of fellow Med-Ren people to the C4P for next year's Royal Musical Association Annual Conference. Here's the link: http://www.gsmd.ac.uk/about_the_school/research/whats_on/the_royal_musical_association_annual_conference_2016/call_for_proposals/. The deadline is Friday 27 November.
The conference celebrates the quality and diversity of current scholarship and research in music by bringing together as many as possible from home and abroad with an interest in the investigation and discussion of the subject's many branches. As such it forms a vital complement to the impressive range of specialist meetings taking place around the world, Med-Ren events included.
For Med-Ren specialists, then, the conference presents an opportunity to communicate research findings to an audience embracing a very broad range of interests. In fact, an audience with the potential during the course of discussions to shed light on Med-Ren topics in unexpected ways.
So bring the proposals on please! As a member of the programme committee I'm looking forward to having lots of intriguing Med-Ren offerings to read through.
Best wishes - Warwick
