Good Morning,
Are you looking for specialist library jobs? If you have a background in managing academic research repositories then your skills are in high demand. We are helping a London University recruit a Research Repository Assistant. From experience, people who start working here never want to leave.
Pitched initially as a 3 month temporary contract, the successful candidate will support researchers across four academic faculties; Business, Architecture, Computing and Humanities, Education and Health, Engineering and Science in validating and correcting metadata which describes a wide variety of scholarly outputs.
You will be expected to provide advice on open access publishing services and policies for researchers, demonstrate a sound knowledge of copyright matters, liaise closely with authors and departmental administrators, and manipulate digital records.
Experience of Eprints software, as well as experience within a Higher Educational Institute is essential, while experience of the Research Excellence Framework (REF 2014) would be highly desirable.
This opportunity is paying £16 per hour.

Vicky
