All,
we now have a branch of the SHACL test suite for DCMI tests.
https://github.com/w3c/data-shapes/tree/gh-pages/data-shapes-test-suite/tests/dcmi
I have done some very simple tests there, and perhaps we could take time
on the call this week for me to walk through them, since they are an
introduction to some basic aspects of SHACL. Not having a way to
actually run the tests, though, and having a limited understanding of
SHACL coding, I'm thinking that we may need to add tests using instance
data and just an explanation, leaving the SHACL encoding to generosity
of other members of the W3C group.
I could use some ideas for tests - even simple ones - from your
experience. I have the EDM tests to add, and am working on those. But I
think that there could be other simple tests to add.
In addition, I got agreement from the W3C group last week to add a SHACL
validation for language-tagged strings - so there will be a way to
concisely say that for the values of a given property in a focus graph,
each language tag can appear only once.
Please reply with some (even off the top of your head) ideas for testing.
Thanks,
kc
