Hello all, and apologies for what will be a cross posting.
CITiZAN*, an HLF funded community archaeology project working with
volunteers to record intertidal zone archaeology along the coastline and
estuaries of England, are holding their first conference on Saturday
10th October in Bridlington. The conference will include talks from
professional and volunteer archaeologists, covering a wonderfuly wide
range of coastal and intertidal topics, including First World War wrecks
and fishing industry remains on the North East coast.
The three CITiZAN teams (North, South East and South West) will also be
presenting an overview of their work so far and their plans for next year.
