Hello,
Finally figured out what has happened, and it wasn’t in our code. Tkinter, in its infinite wisdom, changed the geometry() function (which tells you where the popup is on the screen) to return a unicode instead of a string object. This breaks how the location is stored in the relevant CCPN XML file (in short, Analysis 2 does not deal with unicode). So I’ve changed the code to convert it to a string, and put a patch on the update server for 2.4.2.

When re-opening a project saved in version 2.4.2 all (or most) non-spectral windows reopen positioned in top left corner on top of each other. The same happens when opening 2.4.2-saved project in 2.4.0. Windows are placed correctly when opening 2.4.0-saved project in 2.4.2. That happens on Mac and Linux.
