Subject: Coleridge Goode (1914-2015)
The London Times of today Saturday 17 October carries a two column obituary of Coleridge Goode, a Jamaican who settled in Britain in the mid-1930s. He was both an engineer [trained in Glasgow] and a musician, playing the double bass largely in jazz groups. The article does not mention his 2002 autobiography, Bass Lines: A Life in Jazz (London: Northway Press) written with Roger Cotterrell.
