Hi Elaine,
I like Mind Genius. Jisc bought a licence for the FE sector a few years back and I kept it upgraded whilst at Beaumont College. I have since bought it for personal use.
You can get a free trial here: http://www.mindgenius.com/?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Brand&utm_term=mindgenius
It does have a hefty educational discount but it's still expensive. It's probably more useful for people who are going to use it for project management, and other organisation centric tasks due to the fab export tools for MS Office and MS Project. So given the cost and the scale of this software I would think the tools you have already listed are better suited to personal use.
Best wishes,
Rohan

Subject: Mind Mapping
Hi All,
A question l get asked alot is... What is the best mind mapping software or app available?
In my opinion it depends on what you want the mind mapping software to do. If you want something that will quickly turn your mind map into a PowerPoint presentation then Inspiration 9 is fantastic, it also depends on the operating system available.
I personally use Inspiration 9 on the MacBook, Mind Manager or Xmind on a Windows device and the Mindjet app on my iPad.
Does anyone have any other preferences? Or use something completely different?
Thanks,
Elaine
