Hi all

We are aware of this issue and the new formulation Co-ox samples should alleviate this problem. We intend to run a full trial in January with 3 of the new style formulations then if that is a success move to the new vials completely from April.

The only other thing that seems to help is not analysing the Co-ox samples consecutively after each other. It has been observed from some users that if you wait 20 minutes between samples this seems to almost negate the issue. We appreciate that this isn’t an ideal situation but the new formulation samples should completely fix this problem.

If anyone wants to discuss this directly with me please contact me on the email below.

Kind regards

Gareth

For ours, one calibration seems to do the trick

Hi Rob,

For this last set of WEQAS samples 3 calibrations seemed to fix things for us, but I think it can be variable. I've reported to WEQAS and Radiometer.

Best Wishes

Natalie

Subject: ABL90 Weqas issues

Hi All,

I know this topic has been mentioned before - How WEQAS Cooximetry temporarily knocks out the Glu/Lac on the Radiometer ABL90 flex analyser. Does anybody have a quick fix to get them up and running quickly again? we have tried numerous combinations of putting fluids through /calibrations/jumping up and down - I was wondering if anyone has an effective method of correcting this?

hope you can help

Rob
