Dear All,
We are currently seeking speakers for our session entitled “Extracting Meaning from Metrics: understanding the human past through traditional and geometric morphometrics”, as part of the Theoretical Archaeology Group meeting in Bradford (14th-16th December 2015).
We hope to use this session to highlight how traditional and geometric morphometric methodologies, and more generally studies of shape and form, are used in the construction of archaeological interpretations centred on aspects including identity, trade, technological concurrency, and diversity, and lifestyle.
More information can be found on the TAG website (http://tag2015bradford.org/sessions/) or on www.archaeologicalmorphometrics.com<http://www.archaeologicalmorphometrics.com>.
Paper submissions end on November 2nd 2015 (24 days from now). Please submit proposals directly ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) or to the TAG Bradford committee ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
