Well, there is September and its of October still to go, but just two weeks for early bird registration :-)
If you are on mail lists (Facebook groups, etc.) where you think people would be interested please distribute. I have text below, or simply share the web link.
Two things that may be of interest to some of you (other things mentioned in the email text):
1) The Tiree homecoming next May. This is a 10-yearly event (!) bringing Tiree diaspora to the island (many are descendants of emigres to Canada and Australia in 19th C). There is clearly some resonance with recent events in Europe. This could be an opportunity to create something either using data and media that arises from the event, or to feed into it. The homecoming happens in a single week, so ideal for some sort of demonstrator project, and there are two TTWs before to prepare.
2) There is an opportunity to go into the high school (I think on the Monday, need to double check time) if anyone would be willing to do some sort of session. If any of you have done one of those app building sessions, or Scratch, or audio, or even got your hands on those tiddly new BBC devices, or anything that may be of interest, do get in touch.
Looking forward to seeing you in Tree in October
Alan

Tiree Tech Wave (TTW10)
22-26 October 2015, Isle of Tiree, Scotland, UK
http://tireetechwave.org/
A hands-on making and meeting event exploring the edges of technology on the wild edge of Scotland
Register by 21st September for early bird rate.
Another chance to meet, make, and talk under endless sky. We will have RPis and Arduinos, textiles and Lego technic, and of course endless supplies of tea, but the one crucial ingredient is you.
The western fringe is where scholarship was kept alive in the Dark Ages, and where wind surfers gather today. At Tiree Tech Wave we try to capture a little of the depth of the former and the excitement of the latter as we explore the social, artful, playful and practical edges of technology.
There are no fixed outcomes, you come, you meet, you do stuff together. However, because there are no fixed outcomes, many exciting things happen, including this year a best paper award at CHI 2015 in South Korea for a project started at a past TTW.
For some past highlights see:

There are a few special things likely to be happening this time including a workshop on interactive textiles for dementia care and discussions about OER (open educational resources). There is also various geocoded island data for those who like data wrangling, an overhead projector with Kinect for interactive installations or public displays, and a 3D scanner. However, the final agenda is your own.
