Hi Donna,
I carryout the grip test and Purdue board as standard plus the monofilaments but others may do things differently.

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] HAVS assessment Tier 3
evening colleagues
Hope you are all well?
There was some discussion back in 2013 about what you carry/dont carry out in Tier 3 HAVS assessment. I am aware of the HSE guidance on this issue which states "An assessment of grip strength and manual dexterity should be made, ideally using a dynamometer for grip strength and the Purdue pegboard or other means for manual dexterity". However, I am keen to hear whether some of you are governed by local policy in terms of what clinical assessments you undertake or whether you all carry out the grip strength and manual dexterity tests as a standard..
as always - thank you in anticipation.
Donna
