Hello everyone,
I'm trying to find information on the subject of walking distances in the workplace.
and wondered if my fellow colleagues could point me in the right direction.
The question I'm trying to address is this: "
"Is there a recommended limit or maximum distance for a worker to safely walk in a typical working day?"
Does any workplace have this documented in a policy, or are there any evidence based guidelines that exist?
I'm thinking postal workers, nurses and manufacturing operatives who complete a fair amount of miles, but
I'm unable to find information to answer my question.
Any pointers on the right places to look would be most welcome.
Thanks
Roisin
