I have just started working on a collaborative research project between Habitat for Humanity and University College London - a Systematic Review on the ‘impacts of different shelter and settlement strategies’ (flyer attached with additional information).
This study is important as this type of research has never been undertaken with a 'shelter and settlement' focus- specifically the advantages of systematic reviews are that they generate robust conclusions by assessing the quality of the documentation before synthesising it, which can also broaden thinking about how research is undertaken in the humanitarian shelter sector.
We are currently reaching out to practitioners, policy-makers and academics and would really appreciate 5-10 minutes of your time to complete an online form that can be directly accessed here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1z7hteXAMDdmErbjWH1PFXZSJQpI2eH4W3w-S3qnJgts/viewform?c=0&w=1
Your feedback will be important in making sure we focus our research on the most important topics and that we include all the documentation available.
Do please pass on this email to any one else you think would be interested in this research, and direct them to our website: www.shelterforum.info/systematic-review
thanks and best wishes
John
