Advances in our ability to make circulate, to intervene and to enhance biological functions have meant that the realm of culture now involves the transformation and commodification of 'nature' at its most elemental and molecular levels. Thisworkshop interrogates changing understandings of 'life', the human, and the natural in the context of these and related developments in biotechnology, biopolitics and bio-capital.
