I was considering a different situation.
Where there is a direct employment I am with Iain and I think the relationship takes this beyond the domestic exemption. Whilst that may be fine for the other 20 hours of the day, whilst your employee is there you have duties health safety WELFARE etc. Domestic exemption requires ".. ONLY for the purposes" . In my view the full employment practices code kicks in.
Of course there is then the half way house where you are a self-employed contractor ...
