Data Analyst, Chelsea Football Club
A key part of the Research & Insight team at Chelsea Football Club, the Data Analyst is responsible for the day to day running of the business insight function: deriving actionable consumer insight for marketing, sponsorship and business planning from a wide range of data sources (transactional, behavioural and demographical). Reporting to the Research & Insight Manager but will work closely with other teams, stakeholders & external suppliers.
Main Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Research & Insights Manager and Digital Analyst, the main responsibilities are:
Consumer database profiling
Data analysis, including univariate and multivariate techniques
Segmentation, modelling and analysis consultancy
Propensity and market basket modelling
Undertaking adhoc data analysis projects e.g. database & campaign analytics.
Planning analytics strategy and long term data analysis projects, alongside Research & Insight Manager
Management of predictive analytics toolset, partners, models and analytical database.
Regular reporting on Digital Marketing and CRM KPIs
Post-campaign analysis for all major CRM and Marketing campaigns
Assist in managing integrity, quality and strategic development of Chelsea FC’s database
Perform data queries and campaign extractions
You will be reactive and proactive in equal measures, and have the ability to assimilate information quickly. A logical approach to problem solving and an awareness of data will be key to the success of this role.
