Research Fellow in Quantitative Research Methods (Fixed-term)
Starting salary from £32,277 - £37,394 per annum with further progression opportunities to £40,847
Bournemouth University Clinical Research Unit is part of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at Bournemouth University. Working with the Professor of Statistics, as part of a small team, you will contribute to providing methodological support and collaboration to researchers within the University and the NHS.
This would include working on the design, conduct, analysis and dissemination of multidisciplinary clinical projects (including randomized trials) that aimed to improve the health and care of patients and the public.
Involvement in funding bids to conduct high quality research will be an important component of the post. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the Unitâs own research programme in the area of long-term conditions, particularly Multiple Sclerosis and Cancer.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the continuing development and expansion of medical and health research at the University, working with both health professionals and academics.
For the Research Fellow grade a relevant Masters or PhD is required.
This post is offered on a one year fixed-term contract.
