Hi Michelle
We use QPulse but upload the protected document to our intranet with a valid on day of printing warning appended to it. We do not encourage printing as we issue controlled documentation including quick guides to all sites.

Subject: POCT Document control
Hi All
Just a quick query regarding document control. How do other Trust’s go about controlling documents whilst ensuring that they are available to all POCT users? We use iPassport in the laboratory for document control, but POCT SOPs etc need to be available on the Trust document library for operators to access them, hence losing the control provided by iPassport. I was wondering how this is managed elsewhere, as at the moment the Quality Manager is unsure about whether or not to set up an operational unit on iPassport for POCT.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I know many of you use Q-pulse, but I imagine you may also face the same issues that I am currently facing?
Best wishes
Michelle
