Dear all,
We have an interesting case of discrepant calcium results on CPC and NM-BAPTA methods using Roche (cobas) analysers.
Analysis on the arsenazo III method (Abbott) suggests an interference in the CPC method.
CPC calcium (Roche) - 2.75 mmol/L
BAPTA calcium (Roche) - 1.23 mmol/L
Arzenazo III (Abbott) - 1.29 mmol/L
We are interested in analysing the sample on a Siemems analyser using the CPC method to investigate whether the problem is method or analyser specific. If anyone is willing to help by analysing the sample using this method I would be very grateful if you could get in touch.
Many Thanks in advance for any help.
