Dear colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend the international conference on Chemistry and Physics at Low Temperature - CPLT 2016, to be held on July 3-8 in the beautiful city of Biarritz, France.
The conference will cover issues at the interface of physics and chemistry at very low temperatures and will bring together colleagues from all over the world.
CPLT conferences originate from two long-standing conference series: CPMIS (Chemistry and Physics of Matrix-Isolated Species) and ICLTC (International Conference on Low Temperature Chemistry). CPLT2016 will address new developments and current state-of-the-art in the following areas: structure, dynamics and reactivity in cryogenic solids and aggregates, including systems of biological, interstellar or atmospheric interest.
Topics:
• cryogenic matrices and quantum hosts,
• reaction intermediates and unstable species,
• spectroscopy and dynamics at low temperature,
• astrophysics, astrochemistry and atmospheric science,
• biological systems,
• cryocrystals and clathrates.
The meeting will consist of plenary and key-note lectures, invited and contributed talks, posters and many opportunities for discussions. Strong attendance by young researchers will be encouraged through a best presentation prize and reduced fees for students.
Registration:
Registration will open in December 2015 (deadline: 15th May 2016). The deadline for abstract submission is 31st January 2016 for oral presentations and 3rd May 2016 for posters.
More information on the conference (registration, abstract submission, accommodation, city of Biarritz,…) can be found at: http://cplt16.com
We thank you for forwarding this information to your colleagues and apologize for cross posting.
Hope to see you in Biarritz in July 2016!
The organizers,
Joëlle Mascetti (chair)
Claudine Crépin-Gilbert (co-chair)
Stéphane Coussan (co-chair)
