Dear All,
The National Association of Mining History Organisations (NAMHO) is
to restart its series of research seminars and I am currently looking
at the subjects we might cover. One of those is mine transport, and I
am wondering if there is enough interest in aerial ropeways to
justify a separate seminar on that subject.
If there is sufficient interest, the venue might be in the Lancaster
area, allowing for a visit to view the surviving operational ropeway
at the Claughton Manor Brickworks.
Responses please off list.
Peter
