Hi Stephen,
We've done some studies looking at impacts of our digitisation programmes at Wellcome Library; drawing from Simon Tanner's (and others') approaches and putting them into action through a range of quant and qual methods. I'd be happy to share the reports with you if helpful - or discuss further offline

Hi there,
You may find it useful to look at the Toolkit for the Impact of Digitised Scholarly Resources (TIDSR) http://microsites.oii.ox.ac.uk/tidsr/welcome which Jisc and the Oxford Internet Institute did. There are a number of case studies and guidance on qualitative and quantitative approaches to measuring impact.
Best wishes
Paola

Hi Stephen
Simon Tanner at KCL has done plenty of work on this area.
Some pubs available here http://www.kdcs.kcl.ac.uk/innovation.html, and other materials via his blog - http://simon-tanner.blogspot.co.uk/
