What can statistics tell us about Gender Equality in the Workplace?
Wednesday, September 16, 2015, 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM , London
This Statistics User Forum seminar will explore the statistics that are used in the debate about gender equality in the workplace and the extent to which they are useful, and also misused. The seminar aims to bring together a range of statistics users - and people interested in the use of statistics to understand gender equality - to discuss their views and experiences of the statistics.
There will be a particular focus on the gender pay gap and women in leadership, and we are delighted to be joined by the following speakers:
Sam Ashworth-Hayes, Full Fact
Abigail Player, University of Kent
Lindsey Millen, Close the Gap
It will be an interactive session with plenty of time for Q&A with speakers and discussion, with online sharing of comments at and after the event.
